Poker Pro Theo Jorgensen Inks Sponsorship Deal With PokerStars

After raking in some massive winnings at the recently concluded World Series of Poker Championship event, Danish Theo Jorgensen has been signed on by popular online poker portal, PokerStars, to be their brand ambassador. With this latest deal, Jorgensen has gone on to becoming a part of the illustrious Team PokerStars Pro at the online poker website. So far, Jorgensen’s poker accolades include a WSOPE bracelet that he took in 2008 for winning the PLO championship and a 2010 WPT title. Jorgensen has also made it to 2 main events at the EPT and has placed in the money at the 2010 WSOP Main Event.
Michael Holmberg, Director at PokerStars commented on the latest endorsement deal signed with Jorgensen, “Both his impressive merits at the tables and his positive aura fall perfectly in line with PokerStars’ values. Theo Jorgensen is an accomplished poker pro and has finished in the money in several reputed poker tournaments and won many poker prizes. The Copenhagen based Jorgensen has found considerable success in his 17 years long professional poker career. Jorgensen took home his first WPT title at the Grand Prix de Paris in May this year and pocketed the pool of €633,902. At the WSOP Championship event he grossed more than $644,837, taking his total career earnings to over $2.5 million.
